1991-1993♦ Dr. Joe Karogi and Dr. Mary Chege-Karogi founded KCFA on October 14th, 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama.

1993-1994♦ Presided over a transition period when KCFA was going through a division and provided stability for one year until a new board was elected.
