Kenya Christian Fellowship in America is a public Christian organization run by an elected National Executive Board and also advisory Board of Trustees. This organization has been in existence since 1990 and has continued to minister to the social, economic and spiritual needs of Kenyan community in the Diaspora. We currently have our headquarter office in Raleigh NC. KCFA is a network of local chapter fellowships from across United States and Canada.

Our goal is to have one or more chapters in every state so we can effectively reach out to numerous needs within the local level. Every chapter organizes activities for its members at the local level and enhances strong network ties. We encourage every Kenyan to belong to a chapter in your state and if there is none where you are, please let the NEB know and we will gladly ally with you to start one. We believe that we all have a binding force, that is, we are all Kenyans. Secondly we come from different denominations but we all serve one God and we should all the more strive to promote unity of believers. When we meet as KCFA members we accept each other as brothers and sisters regardless of where we go to church, where we come from, what language we speak what tribe we come etc.  We embrace the beauty in diversity and believe that everyone has three fundamental needs which KCFA can meet i.e. to believe, to belong and to become.

KCFA organizes national, regional and local annual conferences for Women, Men, couples, Children, Youth and Single adults. During these meetings various topics are covered e.g. finances, career, education, investments, insurance, immigration, health and specific issues of interest to married couples, singles, widows, widowers etc. We try to get Professionals to address these areas of concern. We support projects, organizations and groups in our country and in Diaspora as well. As a ministry we take it upon ourselves to quickly respond to national and natural crisis situations based on our ability.

Our most pressing goal is to build a retreat and cultural center where Kenyans and friends can meet for their conferences and other related events. We have already started to fundraise for this cause and you are welcome to partner with us. Continue to pray for KCFA as we continue to use this fellowship to minister to the increasing needs of our Kenyan people.

May God give to us hearts that bleed, eyes that are wide open to see, minds that are clear to interpret God’s purposes, wills that are obedient, and a determination that is utterly unflinching as we set about the tasks He would have us do. When you become consumed by God’s call on your life, everything will take on new meaning and significance. We don’t serve God to gain His acceptance; we are accepted so we serve Him. We don’t follow Him in order to be loved; we are loved so we follow Him. There is nothing small in the service of God and KCFA is one ministry where there is always an opening for you.

We are always looking for sponsorships from groups, churches; organizations etc and if you would like to be a blessing to this ministry in such a manner, feel free to let me know. Every prayer, participation or even financial donation of any amount goes a long way for KCFA. To do what we do we rely heavily on donations from well wishers, membership registration and volunteer services. You can designate your financial donations or resources of any kind towards any of the following areas (or any of your own choice); Annual Conferences (rental fees, guest speakers, sponsorships), Future retreat center, Sponsoring individuals for the conferences, Office rental and supplies, National Executive Board meeting expenses, Hospitality expenses, Emergency/crisis expenses, Presidents Chapter tours, Children educational supplies, Volunteer teachers for youth and children and such related ministries.

May God bless you and keep you, may he make his face shine upon you and grant you his grace.

In His Vineyard,

Dr. Joseph B. Onyango Okello

President, KCFA
