From the President’s desk

Ms. Patricia Njenga
Welcome to Kenya Christian Fellowship in America (KCFA).
As I reflect on our journey, I am filled with gratitude for what God has done over the past 35 years. From humble beginnings—when letters were sent out to gather a small community of believers—to a thriving fellowship spanning over 20 chapters across the United States, KCFA has remained anchored in its mission: to proclaim Jesus Christ and to build authentic Christian community.
Today, we stand at a meaningful point in our journey—grateful for our past, aware of our present, and intentional about our future.
Our Priorities
- Strengthening Chapters
KCFA is built on its chapters. They are the heartbeat of our fellowship and the primary place where relationships are formed, faith is nurtured, and community is lived out.
Our commitment is simple: every chapter should be strong.
We celebrate chapters that are thriving, support those that are growing, and continue to expand into new cities so that more people can experience Christian fellowship wherever they are.
Strong chapters are not built by programs alone—they are built by committed members who show up, serve, and invite others into community.
- Growing Membership
We are a member-driven organization, and our growth reflects the collective commitment of our members.
In recent years, we have seen encouraging momentum, with record membership numbers positioning us to strengthen our operations and expand our impact. Membership is more than support—it is participation in a shared mission: reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ and building a fellowship they can call home.
Each member plays a role—not only by joining, but by bringing others along.
- Investing in Children and Youth
Our future depends on the next generation.
We are intentional about creating spaces where our children and youth feel seen, valued, and connected. When young people choose to stay engaged with KCFA—whether returning for fellowships, attending conferences, or seeking out chapters in new cities—it is a sign that we are building something lasting.
This does not happen by chance. It happens through mentorship, presence, and a commitment to walk alongside them as they grow in faith and purpose.
- Building for the Future: The Retreat & Cultural Center
A significant part of our vision is the development of the KCFA Retreat and Cultural Center in Norlina, North Carolina.
This project represents more than land – it represents legacy. It is an investment in future generations, a place where fellowship, discipleship, and cultural connection can flourish for years to come.
We celebrate the progress made and remain committed to seeing this vision fully realized through prayer, partnership, and generosity.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, we do so with clarity and conviction.
We are building an organization that will outlast us – one that our children and their children can inherit with pride. Guided by our faith and united in purpose, we remain committed to strengthening our chapters, growing our membership, investing in our youth, and advancing the vision God has entrusted to us.
I invite you to be part of this journey.
Whether you are a long-time member or discovering KCFA for the first time, there is a place for you here.
Together, let us continue to build, to serve, and to grow – for the glory of God.
