Happy new
year!!!!! And as we welcome the year:
What are you Facing in 2012?
“But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.”
Psalm 94:22
The goal for me and my family this year is to be ready to really
live for God, to serve him by winning souls, and
making disciples for the
Lord. For me to accomplish this task I am going to face three enemies.
-
Those who are in despair—they’re going to be howling calamity.
- Those with disdain—they’re going to laugh at you and I .
- Those with discouragement—they’re going to say that it can’t be
done.
And you and I we better
learn to silence their voices. How are you and I going to do that?
Get alone in the secret counsel halls of the Almighty and get your eyes on
God. If you listen to what those people say, you’re not going to be
victorious in what God is calling you to do. I believe David conquered Goliath because he got alone with God. I believe
Joseph survived abandonment and imprisonment because he got alone with
God.
ACTION POINT:
Who are your enemies today, and what are you doing to silence them? Get
alone with God and listen. The truth is" God is doing a
new thing.( Isaiah 43:18-19)
You and I need to wait for God who is working in us to do and to will what
is good and pleasing in his eyes. May you make the year so good , so
prosperous and awesome by spending your time on what really matters. I am
praying for you and your family to plan to spend time with us and all
Kenyans who loves the Lord, during our Annual conference which will be
held in June 29-July 2, 2012 at James Madison university in
Harrison burg ,VA . May God bless you and have a happy and prosperous new
year
